Just as Led Zeppelin is considered to be the greatest rock band of all time, Metallica is considered to be the greatest Heavy Metal band of all time. There has never been a bigger name in modern metal music than Metallica. The band does not consider themselves satanic, but singer James Hetfield has said in interviews and in song that he considers himself to be evil. The themes of their music for the most part in every album is death, murder, suicide, violence, and the end of the world.
Two of their most famous early songs are "For whom the bell Tolls" and "Am I evil". Here again in the first albums and in the most popular songs on the albums, there is a spirit in the music
