Here are a few selections to look for at your rental depot.

“The Angel Of Sardise,” DRAMA When a pastor of a small church is forced to expose the adultery of one his deacons, an angel comes to help him win the lawsuit. 60 min. [G].

“Ben Hur,” DRAMA Charlton Heston. 1958. Timeless filmmaking. One of the greatest films ever made about the time of Christ. The chariot race is still unmatched in film history. 234 min. [G].

“The Bible,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Peter O’Toole, George C. Scott, Ava Gardner. 1966. The stories of Genisis [Adam and Eve, tower of Babel, Noah’s Ark, and Abraham and Sarah]  as seen by Dino De Laurentiis. A classic.[G].

“The Champion” ACTION DRAMA, 2001. Former cruiserweight champion Orlando Leone runs a youth center and works as a security guard for a local hotel. He finds himself in a confrontation with the current cruiserweight champion when responding to a complaint of too much noise in the hotel. The boxing promoter hearing of this and the publicity it brings blackmails Orlando into a must fight situation. The result of this is the story of a man faced with incredible odds as he is forced back into the ring to face the current champion. Orlando is put to the test as everything that matters in his life is placed on the line. He must now lean on his faith to give him the strength to fight for his dreams. [PG] violence.

“China Cry,” TRUE STORY DRAMA, The story of Nora Lamm, Chinese evangelist, who was delivered from communism by God’s power. Displays how God saves, not only by being trained in the right way as a child, but God delivers in sovereign power. 103 min. [PG] mild violence.

“Decieved” ACTION THRILLER, Louis Gossett Jr, Judd Neslon, Jefferson Mappin. 2003.  While promising to open the door to an entirely new type of warfare, a top-secret Pentagon experiment designed to unleash paranormal powers suddenly goes wildly out of control. At the same time and observatory in the Sierra Nevada Mountains receives a confirmed extraterrestrial signal. With evidence that the two are somehow connected, Colonel David Garrett (Gossett) rushes with a team of commandos to the observatory. Meanwhile, the billionaire who has funded the observatory gathers his own team, built around a computer expert Jack Jones (Nelson), with the goal of immediately sharing the signal with the entire world. But as this edge-of-your-seat thriller begins to unfold, it becomes clear that the signal has a dark secret-and an even more ominous source. Before long, a trail of envy, lust, greed and anger explodes into a sinister world of murder and betrayal. There is only one way out, but even if they can see it, will they believe it?

“David,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Leonard Nimoy, Nathaniel Parker, Sheryl Lee, and Johnathan Pryce. 1997. The Bible story of David king of Isreal; his rise, temptation, struggle with sins consequences are portrayed with excellent filmwork. 3 hrs. [PG-13] strong violence.

“The End of the Harvest” DRAMA, Why did the Lord take 6 days to create the world when He could have done it instantaneously? In this inspiring prophecy drama, a college student named Scott discovers the shocking truth that the 6 days of creation are a picture of how the course of life on earth would run leading up to the return of Christ ... and that today could be the "final day" of that picture! A thought-provoking film which will inspire Christians, End of the Harvest will also force non-believers to consider the claims of the Bible.

“Future Tense,” FICTION, Short but effective film depicting a Christian who desires his family to be saved before the rapture. 30 min. [G].

“The Omega Code” PROPHETIC FICTION, Casper Van Dein, Micheal York, Micheal Ironside. 1999. The best [most expensive-8 million] christian fiction movie ever made. The whole world saw this one as it made it to the big screen worldwide. The anti-christ rises to power and is overthrown by the coming of Christ. [PG] violence.   

“The Home Coming,” COMEDY DRAMA, Aimee Garcia, Riley Mills. 1996. High school peer pressure and true acceptance meet a big city tough kid with an attitude as he starts a new school. Then Billy Grahm comes to town. Inspirational. 62 min. 

“The Greatest Story Ever Told,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Max Von Sydow as Jesus. The 1965 all-star epic cast story of Jesus. (Even has John Wayne).  3 hrs 14 min. [G].

“Jacob,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Matthew Modine, Lara Flynn Boyle. 1995. The story of Jacob and Esau from the Bible. Excellent. 94 min. [PG] violence.

“The Judgement” DRAMA, Corbin Bernsen, Nick Mancuso, Mr. T. 2001. Good vs. Evil. It's a colossal battle as old as eternity itself. But this time it's going to court... [PG]

“Joseph” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Ben Kingsley, Martin Landau, Paul Mercurio. 1995. The story of Joseph from the Bible. Awesome. 185 min. [PG] violence. 

“Jesus,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Brian Deacon as Jesus. The story of Jesus. Excellent version. A very acurate word for word reproduction of the book of Luke.  83 min. [G].

“Jesus Of Nazareth,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Robert Powell, Micheal York, James Earl Jones, Anne Bancroft, Olivia Hussey, Rod Steiger, Anthony Quinn, Ernest Borgnine, James Mason, Donald Pleasence, and Christopher Plummer. 1981. The three hour film epic of the life of Jesus Christ. 382 min. [PG]violence. 

"Left Behind,” PROPHETIC FICTION, Peter and Paul Lalond. 1994. You missed the rapture, quick, run to the t.v. and watch the news. Excellent prophesy teaching video drama. 60 min. [G].

"Megitto" PROPHETIC FICTION, Michael York, Michael beain, 1999. The sequal to "The Omega Code" which documents the rise of anti-christ and his power over world leaders. The movie ends with the battle of armageddon and satan chained to hell for 1000 years. Claims to be the most expensive Christian movie ever made in cinema history with a price tag above 25 million. The special effects in this movie along with the battle scenes bring a realism to Christian film-making that is long overdue. This is a film to be proud to share with unbelievers. [PG-13]     

“The Mission,” TRUE STORY DRAMA, Robert Deniro, Jeromy Irons. 1986. Story of the missions to the South American Indian tribes by the Jesuit Priest’s. Displays the devotion and price of spreading the gospel. Film opens with a missionary Priest being martyred by a savage tribe. 125 min. [PG.]  violence.       

“Paul, The Emissary,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Gary Cooper. 1996. His life changed the ancient world and still confronts our world today. The story of Apostle Paul in Acts. Great acting and effects. 45 min. 54 min. [G].

“The Revolutionary,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, John Kay Steel. TBN’s epic version of the story of Jesus. This is the same film used in their vertual reality theaters. Excellent! [G]

“The Ride,” DRAMA, Michael Bein, Jennifer O’Neil, and Brooke Pierce. 1997. Former world champion bull rider is thrown in jail, and given rehabilitation at a Christian boys home. His life would never be the same again as he teaches a young boy with cancer to ride a bull. [Special appearance by Franklin Grahm] 98 min. [PG].

“Six” PROPHETIC FICTION, Stephen Baldwin, David White, Kevin Downes. 2004. In the last days before Armageddon, a brutal dictator rules Earth. Using high-tech surveillance from satellites through a sophisticated chip implant, the Community Police Force infiltrates every facet of human existence, tracing each physical and digital footprint left behind. For humanity, freedom is just a fond memory and defiance means death. “The Ten Commandments,” BIBLICAL DRAMA, Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Anne Baxter. 1956. Filmed in Egypt and the Sinai with one of the biggest sets ever constructed for motion picture, Cecil B. DeMille’s epic of Moses and the Exodus is timeless perfection. 2 hrs 19 min. [G].

“Treasure Of Eagle Mountain,” WESTERN DRAMA, Kenneth Copeland, Willy George, Jimmy Blunt. Man who hates his father because he left him when he was young, is restored to fellowship with him when he finds Jesus. [PG] violence.

“Time Changer” FICTION,  Jennifer O’NEILL, D. David Morin, Gavin Macleod, Hal LINDEN, Paul RODRIGUEZ. The year is 1890, Bible Professor Russel Carlisle (D. David Morin) has written a new manuscript, “The Changing Times”. His book is about to receive a unanimous endorsement from the board members of the Grace Bible Seminary…until Dr. Norris Anderson (Gavin Macleod) raises an issue over a “difficulty” he has with something Carlisle has written. Dr. Anderson believes what Carlisle has written could seriously affect the future of coming generations. Using a secret time machine, Anderson sends Carlisle more then 100 years into the future; offering him a glimpse of where his writing will lead.
