Through My Tears I Pray For You

Buried in normality.
Forsaken by reality.
Don't you see you only hurt yourself
Everytime you hurt somebody else?
Each verbal blow that you deal
Only adds to all the pain you feel.
Why do you continue your sadistic parade?
Your actions only destroy the dreams you've made.
Each time that you inflict my pain
You only add to your eternal shame.
Your face is showing through your mask.
Your perfect life hides a broken past.
Beneath your facade you are just like me.
Your head is bruised and your knuckles bleed.
Deep inside we are both the same.
Both of us hurting, both of us maimed.
I reach out my hand though you scoff.
Will you clasp it or just bite it off?
Don't you see that though you scar me
I only pray that God forgive thee?
While you hide your sorrow, I openly show my face.
Everyday my tears pray that you will see God's grace.
