One Sunday morning a white man stood in line waiting to get into church. His church was predominantly black; that is, the majority of members and the pastor were black people. A black lady standing in line with him leaned over and quietly asked, "I know you've been coming here for a long time, how do you feel about being white in an all black church?" The man looked at her, said nothing and looking away said only this:

 "I hadn't thought about it until you just asked. The Bible says, to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace, because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God... For they that are after the flesh set their mind on the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit."

Romans 8:5-8

One day in 1952, a black man walked into a store for food, and a white man said, 'Colored people are not allowed in here.' The black man turned around and said:
'Listen sir....when I was born I was BLACK, '
'When I grew up I was BLACK, '
'When I'm sick I'm BLACK, '
'When I go in the sun I'm BLACK,'
'When I'm cold I'm BLACK,'
'When I die I'll be BLACK.'
'But you sir.'
'When you're born you're PINK, '
'When you grow up you're WHITE, '
'When you're sick, you're GREEN, '
'When you go in the sun you turn RED, '
'When you're cold you turn BLUE, '
'And when you die you turn PURPLE.'
'And you have the nerve to call me COLOURED?'
The white mans face was embarrassed and turned pink and red.
 

One day a white kid and a black kid were playing together, and the black kid said, "My dad says Jesus is black." The white kid responded, "well, he's not. My parents showed me pictures and said He's white." 20 years later the two are good friends, but still debate about this at times. One day they got into a car accident and both died together, and flying up to heaven they both are excited to see who was right, whether Jesus is white or black. When they arrive at the gate of heaven it is closed, and Jesus comes to them on the other side and says, "buenos días!".

CONCLUSION: Jokes aside, it is said that racism is believing that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities; and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race, sometimes involving the idea that one's own race has the right to rule others. While that may be a text book definition, it does not account that racism magnifies differences in a spirit of hate, and that the root of this hate is rebellion against God. Here's why:

Racism is like atheism of a sort. Atheism claims that mankind evolved and has no real purpose. Racism like atheism carries the same unspoken lie that mankind was not designed by God and really has no designed purpose. If man was designed by God the differences in ethnic qualities make perfect sense. Design proves that people and things must be different to accomplish certain purposes.

Designed differences are made to work together to accomplish purpose. Such as a machine [crude example]; parts are made to function together to the purpose of the machine, like different size gears connecting, nuts and bolts, etc. If all parts were the same they could not connect or work together to a productive purpose. Mankind is designed by God with differences that when brought together with His purpose can work perfectly to accomplish life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Likewise in purpose, all parts work together as one. Meaning they do not think one is better than the other because the machine cannot function at all without even the most "seemingly" insignificant part connected in it's place. In this context, the part that seems to be less meaningful is always the part that is the most important to the function of the machine.

No matter what the human ethnicity, the Bible says mankind is a spirit, and soul, and body... three parts to make one man. The physical body and ethnicity is very important, but alone does not define who we are. We are primarily SPIRIT and SOUL and we live in these bodies as if they were "earth suits" to accomplish God's intended purpose [1 Thessalonians 5:23, Romans 10:12, Galatians 3:26-28]

Racism can be completely abolished from off the entire earth in the space of only 10 years. Here's how... go to the sand box at the park where the kids are playing together. They play together Black, White, Asian, and Hispanic, etc. with no thought of ethnic differences. Now just say nothing to them about the differences, nothing about the past, nothing about wars and political agenda's...

They will grow up in love.
